Hey! We are NerdyKindaCrafty! A small family business based out of Barrie, Ontario. Every piece is designed, laser-cut and hand-painted in our home.

On Thanksgiving weekend, 2023, we rushed our son to the emergency room at RVH. Two days later, we checked out of Sick Kids Hospital and began our new adventure in learning everything about Type 1 Diabetes. NerdyKindaCrafty began out of necessity to find a way to offset the costs of insulin and medical supplies.

Almost 3 years later, we've learned a lot. We understand the highs and lows of diabetes now, but we've also fallen in love with a community that backs us every step of the way.

If you're online, you'll get to meet Sean. He's the designer, the laser-wiz and the social media butterfly. You can find us in person at events throughout Ontario. At our markets, you'll get to meet Nina. Nina hand-paints and quality checks everything before it leaves our home.
